Clothing and Equipment

Our clothing and equipment often change depending on what we are interpreting. We have included three pages of information which relate to our basic impressions. For new recruits, we have spare equipment/clothing for use during your first season.

As a civilian recruit we ask you to purchase/make your basic clothing and then aquire appropriate campaign/field gear. Once you have aquired the above and attended one full season of at least two events you may then vote on events. Although you may not stand for permament military rank, you may vote for the rank of SNCO or OC where numbers warrant such a rank at events.

As a military recruit we ask you to aim to aquire your accoutrements over time in the order noted in the approved list below. Once you have aquired all your accoutrements and completed a years service of at least 2 events you will be given the status of an active private. As well as being able to vote you will also be able to order your full subsidised regimental jacket and small clothes at your earliest convenience.

Once you are fully equiped you will attain trusty man status. As well as providing a shining example to your mess mates you will also be able take on the role of JNCO and stand for the rank of SNCO or OC at events where numbers warrant such a rank.
